Oh hey–just your slacker-blogger, returning from under the rock she’s been apparently living under.
Womp womp.
I hope everyone has been wonderful. Did everyone enjoy corned-beef and cabbage with boiled potatoes for St. Patrick’s Day? Like any good Irishman, my mother made bubble n’ squeak for the infamous holiday. But as many of you know, I spent the weekend in Boston with our favorite sous chef, Sous Chef Jack and his girlfriend (and my dear friend, Stephanie).
Let’s see–we galavanted around Boston, bar-hopping, shopping, and drinking tons of coffee. Side-note: Have any of you Bostonite’s been to Boston Common Coffee Co.? You should. Any caffeine addict (like myself) would be in coffee bean heaven. Jack and Steph presented me with fresh cupcakes from Lulu’s Sweet Shoppe–half of which, were devoured before I returned home on Sunday [#SorryImNotSorry]
While we had big plans to cook a huge meal including Guinness stew and Bailey’s infused cupcakes–we ended up catching up, being bums, and celebrating St. Patrick’s Day with one too many green beers, and not so much cooking [#FoodBlogFail]
Now, we all know that I started this blog to cook–you know, because it’s something I love to do–but as you also know, I’m a busy little bee these days. So please excuse my slight hiatus and lack of frequent postings until I get myself back on track and on schedule for setting up these blogs posts.
And until then, enjoy this silly picture of Jack in Boston…
